Chiropractic Adjustments
Chiropractic adjustments are used to restore function and improve movement of joints. There are a variety of adjusting methods that include manual, activator, and drop table technique. Each patient has different physical limitations and experiences which is important in determining the technique that’s best for them.
Cupping
Cupping is a manual therapy technique that aims to release muscle tension and relieve pain. The suction cups are designed to draw fluid to the surface. By moving blood flow to the surface, we stimulate the release of toxins which help facilitate healing of the soft tissues. There are many forms of cupping. We use both traditional plastic vacuum cups and silicone plunger-like cups.
Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization
This muscle mobilization technique aims to decrease muscle tension and pain with the use of ergonomically shaped metal and plastic tools. By mobilizing the muscles, fascia, and tendons, we are able to restore movement and mobility within the tissues being treated.
